Class teacher - full time, fixed term post

You will have a commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote inspiring learning opportunities for all. You will be able to
Demonstrate flexibility, warmth and a willingness to work closely within a dedicated and hard-working team.
Show confidence in using ongoing assessment linked to curriculum objectives to inform teaching and learning.
Show, through your planning and teaching, excellent subject knowledge in mathematics and English and have a good understanding of how to transfer the key skills to children with different abilities.
Reflect a genuine passion for putting our children and their learning first.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with a wide range of activities in school. This could be listening to children read, helping with art and craft activities, supporting science or cookery lessons or engaging children in a particular skill or hobby you have. If you have some regular time to spare and can commit to our school on a weekly basis, please contact the office with your details or submit an application form.
All people who volunteer/regularly visit or work in our school are subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) check and reference requests. This is an important part of our safeguarding responsibilities.
