LEARNING

We provide quality nursery provision at our school for children aged 3 to 5 years. Our nursery class, in its  beautiful indoor and outdoor learning environment, is part of our thriving early years unit within Stamford Bridge Primary School. Our nursery provides a warm, welcoming, safe, childinitiated environment, with range of activities to promote learning through play with investigation and exploration. Our experienced staff aim to enable all children to become confident learners.

OUR VISION

We recognise that children are uniquely capable, creative and intelligent and we maximise each child’s potential and level of engagement by developing a superb learning environment and by supporting and challenging children in appropriate ways to build on their individual learning.

STAMFORD BRIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL OFFER

What hours can you do?

Childcare at school is available from 7.30am to 5.30pm (including wrap around care where places are available). A full day nursery session is 6 ½ hours. Please note that 5 full day sessions at nursery equates to 32 ½ hours, therefore, an invoice would be issued to parents for any extra hours above their childcare entitlement.

Everyone is entitled to 15 hours of childcare, and the majority of families are eligible for 30 hours of childcare. Initially, it would be useful for you to find out if you are eligible for 30 hours by looking at this website: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Starting School

A place in nursery does not mean that your child will automatically get a place at Stamford Bridge School. Parents still need to apply for a school place through admissions at East Riding Council. School places and admissions (eastriding.gov.uk)
